Adult Program Coordinator
Start Date: July 21
Salary range: $15.60-$19.90/hour
The Adult Program Coordinator oversees all programs for adults and seniors at the library, works on our social media and helps coordinate Maker and STEAM services. Working closely with our Youth Program Coordinators and the rest of our library team you will help provide library services to our dynamic growing community.
Our library staff are versatile and friendly people who want to make a difference in our community. Helping people is important to them-one minute, they'll be help with technology questions, the next they'll be running a program and then they'll be helping someone find a book. They connect people to the resources they need. They are active in the community and visit schools, seniors’ centers and other organizations. They are tech-savvy, curious and eager to share what they know with others.
Education: Grade 12 required, Post-Secondary Diploma preferred
Experience with program design, community group or in educational settings is an asset.
Comfortable working with technology including experience using Maker technology like 3D design programs, vinyl cutting, robotics or coding background is helpful.
Able to use social media and some graphic design skills to help promote programs.
